The journey begins:
Day One: (Dehradun -Musoorie)
Our day one begins with a pickup from Dehradun. We arrive at the city of love, Dehradun. The city itself is the perfect place to begin our journey from, Mussoorie is about 33km from Dehradun
Being the capital city of Uttarakhand, Dehradun is a city that has nurtured and managed to save its beauty but also has maintained growth and development.
As we start our journey, we are already in an euphoric atmosphere as we dive into the beauty of the Shivalik Himalayas, we begin our day sitting in the corner seat enjoying the wind kiss our skin and our hair wave in the air. As we strolled into Mussoorie, a cool wind gushed across with yet another scandalous view of misty hills. Driving on those winding roads amid the lush green hills was nothing less than enchanting. Once we reached the hotel, a hidden gem amidst the Hills, we couldn’t wait to check in, offload the bags, and run out to explore and encounter the charm of this little hill resort. Following a brief, yet necessary, respite for tea that warmed the soul, we took to the streets to enjoy the crowds, scenic views, and tranquil spots that have made Mussoorie a favored retreat.
